About Reeling Hope

At Reeling Hope, we believe that meaningful connections can change lives. Through fishing, outdoor experiences, mentorship, and community outreach, we create opportunities for individuals and families to build confidence, develop relationships, and discover hope.

Founded on the idea that a simple day on the water can become a powerful tool for encouragement and personal growth, Reeling Hope exists to connect youth, families, veterans, and communities through programs that inspire learning, leadership, and service. We use the outdoors as a platform to build relationships, promote well-being, and create lasting memories that positively impact lives for years to come.

Our programs are designed to serve a wide range of community needs. Through Project First Cast, we introduce young people to fishing while providing mentorship, outdoor education, and positive life experiences. Through Reel Blessings, our annual Thanksgiving outreach, we help ensure local families can gather around the table and enjoy a holiday meal together. Through Project Offshore, we are working to expand outdoor accessibility by developing ADA-compliant fishing docks and facilities that provide disabled veterans and individuals with mobility challenges greater access to the healing and recreational benefits of fishing.
